Altogether Autism

Altogether Autism ”He puna korero – He puna atawhai", is an innovative and exciting New Zealand-wide Disability Information and Advisory Service (DIAS) recently set up for people with ASD, their families, whanau and the wider community. Parent-to-Parent New Zealand in partnership with LIFE Unlimited has been contracted by the Ministry of Health to provide this service.

Altogether Autism provides evidence based information and clinical advice. This is provided through a clinical psychologist and a team of experts from different professions, gathered from throughout New Zealand. These experts review new research and assist with enquiries about interventions, programmes and more complex matters relating to ASD.

Other personnel include ASD advisors and volunteer support parents who provide frontline support, information and advice. A national coordinator ensures the quality and efficacy of all information and oversees the assembly and collation of a web-based database of service stakeholders and information for people with ASD.
