Brokerage Service

What is a Service Broker?

A service broker ensures a person is in a position to make informed decisions by providing accurate information. The broker's role is to support the person in exercising their rights as an individual.

This service is provided by skilled professional staff who work independently from the health and welfare systems. The service is free and confidential, as well as:

  • Independent
  • Client directed
  • Holistic
  • Professional
  • Well informed on disability related issues

Our aim is to assist individuals to obtain services, support and funding that they may need to live independently.

What Can a Broker do for me?

  • In practical terms, the service broker can:
  • Put you in touch with the right people who can help you.
  • Help family and friends help you.
  • Tell you what help is out there for you.

At your request, the Broker may help you prepare a written "Plan of Action"to meet your specific needs. The plan will list your personal goals and the Broker can provide the names and telephone numbers of people who can help you achieve those goals.

Our friendly experienced Service Brokers are here to help people with disabilities achieve maximum independence and quality living.
