Independent Youth Benefit (IYB) and Independent Circumstances Allowance (ICA) Assessments

We have a contract with Group Special Education (Ministry of Education), Work & Income NZ (Ministry of Social Development) and Studylink, to receive referrals for young people who are applying for the Independent Youth Benefit and Independent Circumstances Allowance.

We cover South Auckland and the greater Waikato, including Te Kuiti, Tokoroa, Taumarunui and Coromandel areas.

This involves an assessment of the relationship between the young person and their family to ascertain if there has been a serious relationship breakdown.
